Two years ago to the date, I found myself hopping on a plane bound for adventure of epic proportions - rockstars, catastrophic travel delays, the most beautiful scenery I’ve laid my eyes upon (we’re talking sheer cliffs, rolling wineries, stunning turquoise waters and technicolor lakefront sunsets), AND some interesting new friends. Little did I know, I’d end up hanging out with childhood heroes, Skid Row (yeah… my childhood was a weird one), befriending Scotty McCreery of American Idol, playing corporate golf (my, GOD I am not corporate, nor am I a golfer…), and consuming an unholy quantity of incredible food, wine and coffee.
